Warranty Policy
1. Warranty Coverage
All Nitorva lighting products come with a one-year limited warranty, effective from the original date of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and covers manufacturing defects, material defects, and electrical component failures under normal residential use. Warranty does not cover commercial use.
2. What Is Covered
- If a product is found defective under warranty, Nitorva may (at our discretion): repair the item, replace the defective component, replace the entire product, or provide a partial/full refund.
- All repair and replacement costs for qualifying defects are free of charge.
3. What Is Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear (fading, minor scratches, bulb life, etc.).
- Damage from incorrect installation, improper use, or modifications.
- Damage caused by power surges, incompatible dimmers, or unstable voltage.
- Damage from external events (fire, water, accidents, acts of God).
- Consumables (light bulbs) unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Products used in commercial, rental, or industrial environments.
- Products with evidence of unauthorized repair or alteration.
- βAs-isβ / clearance items sold with disclosed imperfections.
4. If Your Light Is Not Working β Quick Steps
Before submitting a claim, please try these basic troubleshooting steps:
- Confirm the power is turned on and the circuit/breaker is working.
- Check wiring and connections (for hardwired fixtures) and ensure proper installation.
- Confirm the product is compatible with your dimmer (if applicable).
- Try a new bulb if the fixture uses replaceable bulbs.
- For integrated LED fixtures, check the driver β if visible β or any external driver unit.
If the item still does not work after troubleshooting, it may qualify as a defective unit under our warranty.
5. How to Submit a Warranty Claim
Please email our warranty team at wecare@nitorva.com with the following:
- Order number or proof of purchase (order confirmation or tax invoice).
- Product name or product link from our store.
- A clear description of the issue.
- High-quality photos or a short video that show the defect or problem.
- Your contact details (name, phone number, shipping address if relevant).
After we receive your claim, a Nitorva Customer Support Specialist will review it and respond within 24 hours (business days).
6. What We May Do After Assessment
- Approve repair and arrange free repair or replacement.
- Replace the product with the same or a similar model if the original is unavailable.
- Offer a partial or full refund in certain cases.
- Cover transportation costs for repair or replacement if the defect is approved under warranty.
7. Warranty Limitations & Important Notes
- The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
- Claims resulting from misuse, improper installation, negligence, or unauthorized repair are not covered.
- Ensure you keep your original order confirmation or tax invoice β it is required for warranty validation.
- This warranty is provided in addition to any rights you may have under local consumer protection laws (for example, the right to a repair, replacement or refund for major failures).
8. Care & Maintenance
To preserve the life and appearance of your lighting:
- Follow the installation instructions provided with your product.
- Use recommended bulbs and avoid exceeding maximum wattage.
- Clean with a soft, dry cloth β avoid harsh cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Protect fixtures from prolonged exposure to moisture unless rated for damp/outdoor locations.
